This Scholarship Program is designed to support and encourage cooperation between higher education institutions in Poland and China, particularly targeting students involved in joint research projects or foundation-supported programs. These include joint educational programs established between Polish and Chinese universities. The scholarship recognizes outstanding performance in scientific research within relevant academic fields, aiming to promote academic exchange and cooperation between the two countries while fostering innovation in scientific research.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Outstanding Performance in Cultural and Academic Exchange: Applicants should demonstrate a deep appreciation for Polish and Chinese cultures and excel in cultural and academic exchanges between the two countries. They should actively participate in and promote cultural exchange activities, serving as a bridge for academic communication.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Applicants must strictly adhere to the constitutions and laws of both China and Poland and conscientiously follow the rules and regulations of their higher education institutions, demonstrating a high level of legal awareness and discipline.
High Moral Standards and Integrity: Applicants should possess strong moral character, be honest and trustworthy. They should exhibit a high level of integrity and responsibility in both their academic research and personal life.
Academic Excellence and Research Capability: Applicants should have outstanding academic performance and demonstrate significant achievements and abilities in scientific research. They are expected to have strong innovative capabilities and research potential, with the promise of making further breakthroughs in their academic careers.
Proficiency in Language: Applicants must have a high level of proficiency in either Polish or English, allowing them to effectively engage in academic exchanges and daily life, ensuring they can successfully conduct research in Poland.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The application process for this scholarship opens annually in November and closes in January of the following year, with the results announced in March. For students applying through recommendations from Chinese partner institutions or jointly by Polish-Chinese cooperative institutions, the specific application and result announcement dates will follow the schedule set by the Chinese partner institutions.
The evaluation committee will conduct a comprehensive assessment based on the applicant's academic performance, research capabilities, overall achievements, and language proficiency. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the level of excellence demonstrated by the applicants. The final results will be independently evaluated by the foundation's committee and announced at the appropriate time.
