CHAPTER I: GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 1. Name and Headquarters
1. The Foundation is named "Polish Chinese Academic Cooperation Foundation," hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation."
2. The headquarters of the Foundation is in Warsaw.
3. The Foundation operates based on Polish law, particularly the Act of April 6, 1984, on Foundations.
§ 2. Area of Activity
1. The Foundation operates within the territory of the Republic of Poland and the People's Republic of China.
2. To achieve its objectives, the Foundation may also operate outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.
§ 3. Duration
The Foundation is established for an indefinite period.
CHAPTER II: OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPLES OF THE FOUNDATION'S ACTIVITIES
§ 4. Objectives of the Foundation
The Foundation's objective is to support and develop academic cooperation between Poland and China through:
1. Organizing student exchanges, including sending Chinese students to Poland and Polish students to China.
2. Bringing Polish professors and academic experts to China.
3. Organizing summer camps, seminars, conferences, and workshops on Polish-Chinese cooperation.
4. Promoting the language, culture, and education of both countries.
5. Initiating and supporting research and innovative projects.
§ 5. Principles of the Foundation's Activities
The Foundation achieves its objectives through:
1. Cooperation with educational, governmental, and non-governmental institutions in Poland and China.
2. Organizing cultural and educational events.
3. Providing scholarships and grants for educational and research purposes.
4. Information and publishing activities.
5. Establishing and developing international contacts.
CHAPTER III: ASSETS AND INCOME OF THE FOUNDATION
§ 6. Assets of the Foundation
The Foundation's assets consist of funds, real estate, movable property, and other property rights acquired by the Foundation during its activities.
§ 7. Income of the Foundation
The Foundation's income comes from:
1. Donations, inheritances, bequests, and grants from individuals and legal entities.
2. National and international subsidies and grants.
3. Income from the Foundation's assets.
4. Economic activities conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.
5. Proceeds from organized events, public collections, and lotteries.
§ 8. Financial Management
The Foundation conducts financial management and accounting in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
CHAPTER IV: BODIES OF THE FOUNDATION
§ 9. Bodies of the Foundation
The bodies of the Foundation are:
1. The Foundation's Management Board
2. The Foundation's Council
§ 10. The Foundation's Management Board
1. The Management Board consists of the President, Vice-President, and 1 to 3 members.
2. The Management Board directs the Foundation's activities and represents it externally.
3. The Management Board's responsibilities include:
(1) Implementation of the Foundation's objectives.
(2) Management of the Foundation's assets.
(3) Acceptance of donations, inheritances, and bequests.
(4) Preparation of reports on the Foundation's activities.
§ 11. The Foundation's Council
1. The Foundation's Council is the supervisory and advisory body of the Foundation.
2. The Council consists of the Chairperson and 2 to 4 members.
3. The Council's competencies include: Supervising the Management Board's activities; Providing opinions on the Management Board's plans and reports; Appointing and dismissing members of the Management Board.
CHAPTER V: FINAL PROVISIONS
§ 12. Amendments to the Statute
Amendments to the Foundation's statute are made by the Foundation's Cbuncil at the request of the Management Board or on its own initiative.
§ 13. Liquidation of the Foundation
1. The Foundation's liquidation occurs when the obiectives for which it was established are achieved or its financial resources are exhausted
2. The decision to liquidate is made by the Foundation's Council at the request of the Management Board.
§ 14. Final Provisions
In matters not regulated by the statute,the provisions of the Act of April6, 1984, on Foundations and other applicable legalregulations shall apply.
