URK LAUNCH JOINT BIOENGINEERING PROGRAM

30.09.2025

In the latest list of Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools approved in 2025, the University of Agriculture in Krakow and Dalian Minzu University have jointly established an Undergraduate Program in Bioengineering, officially approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. This marks a new milestone in the University of Agriculture in Krakow’s international educational cooperation in China.

The two Universities signed a Cooperation Agreement in 2023. The approved program, with the filing number MOE21PL2A20252516N, is designed as a four-year undergraduate cooperative education program, with an annual enrollment plan of 100 students. Graduates will be awarded a joint bachelor’s degree conferred by both Universities.

The Bioengineering program at Dalian Minzu University, recognized as both a National First-Class Undergraduate Program of China and a First-Class Undergraduate Education Demonstration Program of Liaoning Province, further underscores the excellence of this initiative. By combining their strengths, the two universities have filled a gap in higher education cooperation between China and Poland in this field.
