Recently, the Foundation and a delegation from the Poznań University of Life Sciences visited the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in China at the embassy’s invitation. During the visit, discussions were held with the Economic and Commercial Section of the embassy on the sustainability and challenges of scientific and educational cooperation between Poland and China. Together, the parties identified priority areas and good practices for developing cooperation in education, research, and implementation between the two countries.

All sides agreed to jointly support the development of scientific and academic cooperation between Poland and China, to foster connections and partnerships among scientific centers, research institutes, and universities in both countries, to carry out joint research projects, and to enhance academic and scientific mobility between Poland and China.
With the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in China, the Foundation and Poznań University of Life Sciences plan to establish a joint research project in China on “Renewable Energy – Innovative Biogas Plant.” This project is implemented with the funding of the Polish National Centre for Research and Development under the European Smart Growth Operational Programme. Its key feature is the efficient processing of various organic substrates into biogas without odor emissions, which is then upgraded into biomethane.
